TMS & JAMS Weinstein Int'l Fellows & Recognizing The Honorable Rebecca Westerfield (Ret.)

JAMS proudly welcomes the 2025 cohort of Weinstein JAMS International Fellows, an accomplished group of judges, mediators, lawyers, academics, and diplomats from around the world. During their time in the United States, the Fellows will engage with JAMS Resolution Centers, study dispute resolution practices, and pursue individualized projects aimed at advancing conflict resolution in their home countries.

This year’s Fellows represent diverse regions and professional backgrounds, from pioneering family mediation in the Czech Republic and judicial ADR innovation in Ukraine and Thailand, to promoting mediation in development projects in Romania, fostering international peace operations in Spain, strengthening mediation systems in Brazil and Fiji, and advancing dispute resolution frameworks in Ethiopia.

Through this program, the 2025 Fellows will gain practical experience, exchange knowledge with leading ADR practitioners, and develop scalable models to strengthen peaceful dispute resolution globally.

In addition, TMS will honor Hon. Rebecca Westerfield (Ret.) with the Award for Outstanding Contribution in the Field of Mediation. Judge Westerfield has been a trailblazer in mediation and a champion of the JAMS International Fellows program. She will join the event virtually to accept the award and share brief remarks.
